Milanese Coachbuilders Partnership With Perana
On the Perana Z-One sports car, the South African carmaker Perana Performance Group and the Milanese Coachbuilders worked together for the first time. The Perana is the result of 90 years of conceptual design development expertise at Zagato. The traditional style process was practically unnecessary due to the early adoption of virtual planning process includes, which allowed the South African team to finish the prototype in less than 4 months.
Zagato form Language
The Z-one is the newest sports car from Zagato and features their signature form language. The Z-dimensions one and volume are even smaller than traditional sports car designs, demonstrating the newly hired sports car specialist's unbridled fervour. Visually, these components are combined by a few long, angular curves with pointed edges, like the air vents. In order to retain the contemporary Zagato line that we've been creating for ten years, surfaces with this type of edge are further sculptured.
Zagato’s Long Legacy
The Perana Z-One, a very practical and doable production proposal, should be offered for sale to discerning European customers by July 2009. It continues the long history of exquisitely crafted automobiles from Zagato. The Perana Z-one was designed by Zagato Consultancy Services with the goal of creating just a few of them. To preserve uniqueness and pay tribute to 90 years of Zagato design, sales in Europe will be capped at 999 vehicles annually.
This value proposition will be made accessible for less than 50.000 Euros (before taxes) at launch and complies with Euro 4 emission regulations.
